DC Nation: Wonder Woman (x)
Modern Wonder Woman Ditches the Invisible Plane for New Wheels in a New DC Nation Short
In about 33 seconds a new DC Nation short does what David E. Kelley and what we are told untold movie scripts failed to do, create a compelling, modern take on Wonder Woman. And really who needs a lasso when you can channel Willow Smith?
What do you think?

world’s finest friendship, now in rainbow
featuring shenanigans in civvies, gossip, post-battle first aid, a secret space clubhouse, betting on each others’ love lives and making up after an argument of near apocalyptic proportions
don’t you just love these three

urgh these three slay me, they do
look at them: kicking ass, sparring while talking about their babies, becoming gods together, trolling each other at weddings, hugging at funerals, teasing each other about their civilian identities
just … their friendship is so damn beautiful
i swear i was going to write something coherent
basically i love these three and the ~polyamorous platonic life partners~ thing they have going on and i want to smush their faces together but not in a romantic sense
This is a great photoset.
Good story, an embracing of the Greek mythology and history, and a Diana that is clearly her own agent. Amazons who are worthy of the name, not in the sense that they’ve amputated a breast, but in the sense that they are not-to-be-fucked-with. Little-to-no romance. A costume that makes more sense. An epic sword fight. A thematic core that addresses the questions of xenophobia v. inclusion, and nature v. nurture, and that takes the core feminism of the concept and instead of apologizing for it or avoiding it, embraces it as a given, so it is simply there, rather than being what it’s about.
Mostly, one that embraces the character rather than apologizes for her." — Greg Rucka, on what he wants to see in a Wonder Woman movie (via thehappysorceress)

“We’re heroes. “
Stanley Lau cover artist for DC puts up a just for fun take on Wonder Woman. I really like many of his covers, I just wish all the faces on his women didn’t look so much a like.
